Airbnb has used our services since 2015, when they first launched their host community. Since then the community has grown to over 1.8m members across the world in 8 languages, all supported by a team of community management experts from Standing on Giants.
Bringing hosts together to share tips and best practices has been core to the Airbnb business since the start. What started with the founders hosting meetups in their own small apartment, has now grown into a far-reaching ecosystem of community engagement programs. The purpose remains the same: members of the community help each other host better. Members of this community earn 2.5x more revenue on Airbnb than non-members.
The Airbnb community management team at Standing on Giants keep the community engaged, safe and valuable. They execute the community strategy, generate peer-to-peer engagement and manage a core group of highly engaged members (super-users).
The Community Center is one of the best resources I have ever come across. I gained all the hosting knowledge I now have by using the Community Center. Most here would regard me as one of the trusted senior members, and that has only come about by my involvement here over the past 6 years…..listening and learning. As far as I am concerned, the CC is to hosting what water is to a stranded traveler in the desert!

In 2022 we were thrilled to extend our partnership with Airbnb as we deployed a dedicated team to manage the Host Club Program across 7 global territories. This community program supports volunteer host leaders to run local engagement clubs through a combination of Facebook groups and in-person events. The leaders of these clubs are incredibly special to the community, and come together once a year for Host Leader Summits across the world.
Over 150 Airbnb staffers receive Standing on Giants community insights reports. The team analyses thousands of daily interactions across owned communities and social, to highlight trends, opportunities, and pressing issues.
